HC Deb 13 July 1933 vol 280 c1256W
Mr. McENTEE

asked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that in Cambridgeshire the rural guardians committee has, during the period from November, 1931, to June, 1933, considered 929 applications for transitional payment, and out of this number has awarded full payment in four cases only; and whether he will take steps to ascertain if the law is being fairly administered?

Sir H. BETTERTON

I have no figures as to this area, but am making inquiries, and will communicate with the hon. Member.
