HC Deb 13 July 1933 vol 280 cc1255-6W
Countess of IVEAGH

asked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the great interest in maternal mortality, he can see his way to included deaths in child-birth among causes of death in the official returns of the Registrar-General?

Sir H. YOUNG

The Registrar-General's statistical publications already contain very full and detailed particulars of maternal mortality under its several heads of causation; and I do not clearly understand what the Noble Lady has in mind. If, however, she will communicate with me further in the matter, I will gladly endeavour to assist her.
