Sir H. YOUNGThe amount of the "losses on account of rates" under the provisions of the Local Government Act, 1929, of the county borough of Bradford as at present known is £310,888. The general Exchequer grant payable to the county borough in respect of the year 1931–32 is, as provisionally calculated, £431,500.
