§ Dr. SALTERasked the Minister of Transport whether he will publish the findings of the Industrial Court in regard to the application recently made for a 1766W variation of the provisions of Section 19 of the Road Traffic Act, 1930, before making any order upon the application?
Mr. STANLEYThe Act places the responsibility for a decision on the Minister, and I do not propose to publish any advice which I may receive from the Industrial Court in advance of announcing my decision. If there is any general desire that the advice of the Industrial Court should be made public, I will consider the desirability of making their report available.
