YOUNGThe latest returns available show that 3,055 able-bodied 951W men in receipt of out-relief in the geographical county of Lancashire were set to work, trained or instructed during September last. The nature of the work continues to be as was stated in the reply to the hon. Member's question on 27th April last. The amount of relief afforded depends upon the circumstances of the individual applicant and the practice of the committee.
