Sir H. YOUNGNo such instructions as those suggested by the hon. Member have been issued. Applications from local authorities for sanction to loans for the purpose of advances proposed to be made by them under the Small Dwellings Acquisition Acts will continue to be considered on their merits with due regard to the circumstances in which each individual application is made.
