HC Deb 02 June 1931 vol 253 cc36-7W
Mr. HAMMERSLEY

asked the President of the Board of Trade what action he proposes to take in connection with the resolution, a copy of which was sent to him, passed by the United Textile Workers' Association, condemning any alteration in the present system of work and wages in the cotton industry?

Mr. W. GRAHAM

The resolution to which the hon. Member refers does not appear to call for any action on the part of the Government.
