asked the Secretary for Mines whether he will state the figures showing the tonnage of coal produced, the tonnage exported, average pit-head price, wages cost per ton produced, aggregate wages paid, number of persons employed, number of fatal accidents and of persons killed, number of non-fatal accidents, number of persons unemployed, and rate per ton and total of royalties and wayleaves paid for 192S, 1929, and 1930 in the United Kingdom and in the districts of South Wales and Scotland, respectively?

The information, so far as available, is as follows. The figures for 1930 are partly estimated and are subject to revision. Items (3), (4) and (8) relate only to the first nine months of the year.
