asked the Secretary of State for War in respect of the troops of all ranks in the Aldershot Command the number of disciplinary actions during the past year; the number of deaths from disease; the number of suicides and attempted suicides; and the number certified insane during the same period?

The figures for the year 1930 are as follow:

Courts-martial 230*
Deaths from disease 27
Suicides 5
Attempted suicide 1
Certified insane 4

The average strength of the Aldershot Command during the year was approximately 25,000.
