HC Deb 10 December 1931 vol 260 cc2080-1W
Mr. COCKS

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will make a statement on the present position of the Manchurian dispute?

Mr. EDEN

So far as military operations are concerned, there is nothing material to add to the reply return to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Chippenham (Captain Cazalet) on 30th November. It is now approximately three weeks since actual fighting occurred. The Council of the League are still using every effort to find a solution, and discussions to that end are actively proceeding in Paris.
