HC Deb 10 December 1931 vol 260 c2090W
Mr. WELLS

asked the Minister of Agriculture if he proposes to take any measures to check the importation of plants, trees, and shrubs, other than roses, that are being dumped into this country?

Sir J. GILMOUR

My immediate proposals with regard to horticultural products are, as my hon. Friend is aware, contained in the Horticultural Products (Emergency Customs Duties) Bill. I am not prepared at present to make any further statement with regard to agricultural and horticultural imports.
