§ Mr. CLYNESAccording to the quarterly returns, presented to Parliament, 1,299 "Russians" (which includes Soviet citizens with Soviet passports) were given leave to land in the last quarter of 1929. Similar figures for the first quarter of this year have not yet been published but are estimated at 1,642. I regret that I cannot give the figures for April.
