HC Deb 15 May 1930 vol 238 c2076W
Mr. BLINDELL

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he has received an application from the tenants of land at the Crown Colony, Holbeach, for a reduction of rent for the year ending Lady Day, 1930, on account of the fall of prices during the past year for their potato crops; and whether, in view of the special circumstances, extending over two seasons, he will assist these men by a remission of rent?

Mr. N. BUXTON

A petition has been received from a number of tenants on the farm settlement at Holbeach, asking for some concession in regard to the Lady Day rents. The matter is receiving my careful consideration.
