HC Deb 15 May 1930 vol 238 c2072W
Mr. W. BROWN

asked the Home Secretary whether, seeing that the free importation into Britain of International Press Correspondence, a weekly journal relating to current international affairs, which is published in Berlin, has been restricted, he will state the nature of the importation restrictions in force and for what reason they have been imposed; and whether he will consider the advisability of their removal?

Mr. CLYNES

As regards the first part of the question, I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply which I gave on 6th March to a similar question by the hon. Member for Newcastle, North (Sir N. Grattan-Doyle). As regards the second part, the answer is in the negative.
