HC Deb 13 May 1930 vol 238 c1641W
Captain P. MACDONALD

asked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that, in accordance with present regulations, foreign money orders may not be transmitted by air mail; and whether it is proposed to remove this prohibition?

Mr. LEES-SMITH

A service for the transmission of money orders by air mail to Egypt, Iraq and India is being arranged. Money orders are already being received by air mail from India. Extension of the service to any country which would result in advantage in point of time will be considered.
