§ Mr. PETHICK-LAWRENCEThe grant-in-aid referred to is a contribution towards the expenses of the Law Society in carrying out the disciplinary duties laid upon it by the Solicitors' Acts. The grant is made in pursuance of a resolution of the House of Commons, dated 11th May, 1897.
