HC Deb 07 May 1930 vol 238 cc981-2W
Mr. GROVES

asked the President of the Board of Education whether he will call the attention of the governors of all State-aided schools to the Ministry of Health's Vaccination Order, dated 1st October, 1929, in which it is pointed out that so long as the small-pox prevalent in this country retains its present mild character it is not generally expedient to press for the vaccination of persons of school age or adolescents who have not been previously vaccinated unless they have been directly exposed to small-pox infection?

Sir C. TREVELYAN

I assume that my hon. Friend is referring to Circular 1025, issued by my right hon. Friend the Minister of Health. I am advised that this has already received such publicity that further action on my part is unnecessary.
