Mr. FREEMAN

asked the Secretary of State for India whether he can state the amount of revenue raised in India by the export of opium; to what countries it is sent; and the amount sent to each during each of the last five years?

the United Provinces, the Punjab, the Central Provinces and Berar, Assam and Burma, respectively; and what was the percentage of excise revenue as compared with the total revenue accruing to the provincial Governments in each case for the year 1928–29?
