asked the Postmaster-General whether he will consider the desirability of issuing stamps bearing pictorial views of this country as is now being done by many other countries?

A similar suggestion was considered recently, but in this matter I do not see my way to depart from the policy of confining the issue of special stamps to very exceptional occasions.
