§ Mr. FREEMANasked the Attorney-General the number of magisterial appointments that have been made in the counties of Brecon and Radnor and in the borough of Brecon during the last 20 years; and what number, if any, can be regarded as working-class representatives in each case?
§ The ATTORNEY - GENERALIn Brecon County, 127 appointments have been made, in Radnor 70, and in the borough of Brecon six. In making these appointments care has been taken to secure a reasonable representation of all classes of the community, but my Noble Friend the Lord Chancellor cannot undertake to specify the occupation of each person appointed.
