§ Sir C. TREVELYANI have been asked to reply to this question. I am aware that the official guides do not attend on Sundays at the Victoria and Albert Museum, but I am not prepared, as at present advised, to alter the arrangements. I am informed that guided tours of the galleries can only be conducted with a reasonable measure of success with fairly small numbers, and that on account of the large attendance on Sundays such tours would interfere with other visitors, and would also probably be rendered largely ineffective by attracting too many listeners.
