§ Mr. LANSBURYA small fire broke out in the garrison cookhouse in the Flint Tower, and was easily extinguished. It is supposed that it originated from some hot ashes which fell into a coke bin. Steps have been taken to prevent a recurrence. The fire precautions are elaborate and adequate.
