asked the President of the Board of Trade what was the British (British Isles) proportion of world trade during the years 1924, 1926, 1928, and 1929, respectively?

The percentage share in world trade of the British Isles, taken as a unit, during the years 1924, 1926, 1928 and 1929 was approximately 15.0, 13.9, 12.8 and 13.0 respectively.
