§ Mr. GREENWOODThe price of bricks in England and Wales varies in different areas, and materials for such a comparison as the hon. Member desires are not available. I am informed, however, that the import of Belgian bricks in October amounted to 14,244,000, the c.i.f. value of which was £34,307, an average of £2 8s. per 1,000. The price quoted in2020W the current number of "The Builder" for Flettons at King's Cross is £2 12s. 3d. per 1,000. Belgian bricks are, however, commonly smaller than Flettons.
