§ Mr. MANDERasked the Minister of Labour if she will inquire what women's sub-committees of local employment committees have considered questions affecting domestic service by forming local associations of employers and employes to agree upon conditions in their areas or otherwise; and what success has resulted from their efforts?
§ Miss BONDFIELDCopies of the Report of the Committee appointed in 1923 on the conditions in domestic service were supplied to local employment committees, but, after full consideration of the recommendations, none of these committees has found it practicable to form local associations of employers and employes to agree upon conditions in their areas.
