HC Deb 15 April 1930 vol 237 c2746W
Sir H. NIELD

asked the Minister of Labour the number of cases in which unemployment books for the year 1928–29 have not yet been credited to the accounts of the insured contributors?

Miss BONDFIELD

The practice is to spread the work of posting the contributions from the unemployment books to the ledgers over the year ending July, and the number remaining unposted is about the normal for this period of the year, namely, 2,000,000.
