§ Mr. SHAWApproximately three infantry battalions and a section of armoured cars were despatched to Palestine together with ancillary troops. One infantry battalion and the armoured cars have since been withdrawn. As regards the third part of the question, the extra expenditure to date is estimated at approximately £30,000 excluding the value of stores issued from stock. As regards the last part of the question, a decision has not yet been reached.
