asked the Minister of Labour what is the number of men registered as engaged in the tanning industry, and the number unemployed in the same industry during the last four months?

The estimated number of insured men aged 16 to 64 classified as belonging to the industry group—tanning, currying and leather dressing—in Great Britain at the beginning of July, 1929, was 28,850. The numbers recorded as unemployed in each of the last four months were:
