HC Deb 15 November 1929 vol 231 c2413W
Mr. CAPE

asked the Minister of Health how many rural district councils have applied under Section 81 of the Housing Act, 1925, to have a parish made a contributory place; and, if any, how many such applications have been granted?

Mr. GREENWOOD

I am unable to state the number of applications made by rural district councils under Section 81 (3) of the Act of 1925 for a declaration that expenses incurred in the provision of houses are to be levied as special expenses charged on specified contributory places. There has been one case in which such a declaration has been made.
