granted and the number for benefit being refused; and the number in each case when recommended for benefit being granted which have been refused by the insurance officer?
§ Miss BONDFIELD,pursuant to her reply [OFFICIAL REPORT, 31st October, 1929; col. 302; Vol. 231] supplied the following statement:
64 in employment on approximately the following dates: 21st January, 21st March, 21st May, 21st July, 21st September, 1929, and the most recent 2265W date for which figures are available; and whether she can give similar figures for approximately the same dates for the years 1927 and 1928.
§ Miss BONDFIELDThe following table shows the estimated numbers of insured persons, aged 16 to 64, in employment in Great Britain, at the dates mentioned in the table, after making allowance for the numbers unemployed and the numbers directly involved in trade disputes, together with a deduction of 3½ per cent. in respect of sickness and other forms of unrecorded non-employment other than temporary holidays:
