§ Mr. EDMUNDSasked the Minister of Agriculture if he will state the number of prosecutions undertaken by the Ministry for offences under the Agricultural Wages (Regulation) Act, 1924, the number of convictions recorded, and the number of cases in which penalties were inflicted during 1928 and during the present year in the counties of Mon- 2251W mouthshire, Glamorganshire, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, and Cardigan-shire?
§ Dr. ADDISONIn the counties mentioned, during 1928, eight prosecutions were undertaken under the Agricultural Wages (Regulation) Act, resulting in five convictions being recorded and fines being imposed in each case of conviction. During the present year there have so far been 10 prosecutions resulting in four convictions and fines in three cases.
