asked the Secretary for Mines how many ponies employed in coal mines in this country have been accidentally killed, slaughtered in consequence of injuries, or sustained injuries from which they recovered., during the past three years?

Year ended 31st December. Number of horses killed by accidents, or slaughtered in consequence of injuries. Other cases of injury reported to the Manager.
