HC Deb 11 November 1929 vol 231 cc1544-5W
Mr. LONGDEN

asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies, seeing that adequate police and military precautions were taken to ensure order during the anniversary demonstrations of the Arabs in Palestine, if he will say why the flagship Ramillies is now stationed there?

Mr. ALEXANDER

I would refer my hon. Friend to my reply of the 6th November to the hon. and gallant Member for the Isle of Wight (Captain P. Macdonald). H.M.S. Ramillies has since left.
