HC Deb 11 November 1929 vol 231 c1545W
Mr. KEDWARD

asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that a number of men have been removed from the Southern Railway Company's works at Ashford, Kent, to Lancing, in Sussex, where no housing accommodation is avail able except at prohibitive cost; and whether he will make representations to the local authority with a view to getting the necessary number of houses erected?

Mr. GREENWOOD

I have at present no information on the subject of the question, but I will make inquiries and will communicate with my hon. Friend in due course.
