§ Dr. HASTINGSasked the Minister of Health if he can give the number of deaths from tuberculosis of other organs than the lung that occurred in 1928; and if any estimate has been made of the number of these deaths that resulted from infection by tuberculous milk?
§ Mr. GREENWOODOf the registered deaths in England and Wales in 1928 classified to tuberculosis, 6,824 were assigned to forms of the disease other than pulmonary tuberculosis. I am advised that there is no information avail able on which to base any reliable estimate of the number of these deaths which were due to infection by tuberculous milk.
