§ Mr. MILLSasked the Minister of Transport whether any representations have been made as to the inadequacy of the Woolwich ferry to deal with the growing volume of traffic; and whether he will consider the suggested high level bridge from Shooters' Hill to East Ham in this problem?
§ Mr. HERBERT MORRISONThe answer to the first part of the hon. Member's question is in the affirmative. I understand that the London County Council propose to augment the service by the addition of a third vessel now under construction. In reply to the last part of the question, I am unable to add anything to the reply I gave on the 4th November to a similar question by the Member for West Woolwich (Sir K. Wood), a copy of which I am sending to my hon. Friend.
