asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury if he can give the total amounts of Customs and Excise revenue received by the Treasury from silk and artificial silk from 1st January, 1929, to 31st October, 1929, under the headings of these taxes, including the amounts of drawbacks refunded in the same months?

The latest date up to which detailed figures are at present available is 30th September, 1929. The required particulars for the period 1st January, 1929, to 30th September, 1929, are given in the following table:
