HC Deb 05 November 1929 vol 231 c880W
Sir H. HOPE

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether, in view of the loss sustained by farmers of arable land and in order to prevent more land being turned out of cultivation, steps will be taken to stop the importation of German oats, which are benefited by a bounty given by the German Government?

Mr. BUXTON

I would refer the hon. Member to the answer which I gave yesterday to similar questions by the hon. Members for Colchester (Mr. O. Lewis) and Gravesend (Mr. Albery), of which I am sending him a copy.
