HC Deb 05 November 1929 vol 231 c853W
Mr. WOMERSLEY

asked the Postmaster-General if he is aware that complaints have been made to the postmaster at Grimsby of the late delivery of letters in the mornings in certain parts of the Grimsby postal area; and if he will cause inquiries to be made with a view to an earlier delivery being instituted?

Mr. LEES-SMITH

I find that there have been recent complaints about the late delivery of letters at Grimsby. Apart from the late running of trains they arise from growth of work in certain parts of the town. The question of expediting the delivery is receiving consideration.
