HC Deb 05 November 1929 vol 231 c855W
Mr. MILLS

asked the Postmaster-General if his attention has been called to the growth of the population at Eltham; and whether, in view of the growing importance of this centre, he will consider the present staffing of this office and the inadequate accommodation for customers and staff?

Mr. LEES-SMITH

The staffing arrangements of the Eltham branch office in Park Place were reviewed last year, and the amount of business at present transacted does not call for an immediate increase of staff. The accommodation provided is considered adequate to the present needs.
