§ Mr. MANDERasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, during the meeting of the Assembly of the League of Nations in September, any request was made to His Majesty's Government to provide a contribution towards the settlement of Armenians in the republic of Erivan; and, if so, what attitude they took up?
Mr. HENDERSONHis Majesty's Government were not asked to make any contribution towards the cost of this scheme which, by decision of the Assembly, is not for the moment being proceeded with.
