Mr. A. HENDERSONSo far as I am aware, no memorandum on slavery in 985W Abyssinia was prepared by Lord Lugard for the League of Nations Commission in 1922. The Report of the Temporary Slavery Commission, on which Lord Lugard was the British representative, was communicated to the President of the Council on 25th July, 1925. This Report, which refers inter alia to conditions in Abyssinia, was published in the League of Nations Official Journal, sixth year, No. 10.
