Particulars of the total imports and retained imports of iron and steel products are published in considerable detail in Vol. I of the Annual Statement of the Trade of the United Kingdom. Figures relating to the years 1913 and 1919–22 will be found on pages 30–3 (Total Imports) and pages 198–200 (Retained Imports) of Volume I of this publication for the year 1922. Corresponding figures relating to the years 1922–26 appear on pages 30–3 and pages 202–4, respectively, of Volume I of the issue for the year 1926. As regards data for 1927, these will appear in the corresponding volume of the Annual Statement for 1927 which will be published shortly, and meanwhile less detailed figures will be found in the "Accounts relating to Trade and Navigation of the United Kingdom ' for December, 1927, which show on pages 53–5 and pages 196–7, respectively, the total imports and the re-exports of the principal kinds of iron and steel products during each of the years 1925 to 1927.
