Exeter (Sir R. Newman) in regard to the Kenya Native Land Trust Bill. As it is not proposed to proceed with the enactment of this legislation, pending consideration of the recommendations of the Commission on Closer Union in East Africa, I do not think that any useful purpose would be served by discussing further at this stage the terms of the Bill.
