HC Deb 21 June 1928 vol 218 c1783W
Mr. MACLEAN

asked the President of the Board of Education if the supply of male entrants to the teaching profession is sufficient to satisfy the necessity of having male teachers for classes of boys of five years and over?

Lord E. PERCY

I do not think that local authorities would accept the hon. Member's assumption that it is necessary to employ male teachers for classes of very young boys.
