§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSThe fee payable in respect of the grant of a Certificate of Naturalisation is £10 ordinarily, with a reduced fee of 5s. in the case of a woman who lost British nationality by marriage. The fee payable64W by an alien on obtaining an exemption which enables him to assume a name by which he was not known on the 4th August, 1914, is ten guineas, with power to remit the whole or any part of such fee in special cases. The receipts for the financial year ended 31st March, 1927, were, respectively, £11,632 and £1,748 9s.6d.
