HC Deb 27 February 1928 vol 214 c56W
Mr. LOOKER

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether his attention has been drawn to the increasing importation of foreign bulbs and flowers into this country and to the effect of such importation upon British growers of bulbs and flowers; and will he consider including growers of bulbs and flowers in the provisions of the proposed agricultural credit scheme?

Mr. GUINNESS

My attention has been called to this importation, and I have ascertained that there has been a considerable increase recently. The answer to the second part is in the affirmative.
