§ Mr. AMERYThe question covers a wider field than could be met by any general estimate. The subject, however, is an important one, and the Empire Marketing Board, in co-operation with the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research and the Governments of certain oversea parts of the Empire, have 3269W explored it systematically in the case of certain fruits. I am sending the hon. Member copies of some of the reports made as the result of these investigations.
