asked the President of the Board of Trade the number of long films, giving the approximate gross number of feet of the negatives that have been imported into this country during the present; year, and the country of origin of these films?

The lengths of individual films imported are not recorded. The length of negative cinematograph film imported into Great Britain and Northern Ireland during the present year (January to November, 1928,) is as follows:
