asked the Postmaster-General if he has considered the letting of the space on the back of telegraph forms for advertising purposes; and whether there is any reason why this space should not be so let?

The conditions governing the acceptance and delivery of telegrams are printed on the back of the handed-in form; and I think it necessary that they should appear there for the information of the public. The back of the delivery form is used for advertisement of certain Post Office services, and in my opinion is better used in that way than for commercial advertisements, unless advertisers would be willing to pay much more for the space than I have been led to expect
